Nashville-based National Certified Alarms Inc. (NCA) expanding business model into other markets
NASHVILLE, Tenn. — January 26, 2006 — Customers throughout the Southeast will soon enjoy the low-cost, high-quality philosophy of National Certified Alarms Inc., CEO James A. Stein announced today.
Stein has entered into a licensing agreement with Drew Trapnell to form NCA USA, Inc. Trapnell will serve as President of NCA USA and will expand the NCA business model across the United States starting with the Southern states. NCA USA opened its first operation in the Greater Memphis Area last year, and has plans to open Jackson, MS and Birmingham, AL in the first quarter of 2006. His plans call for additional branches to eventually penetrate all the major markets throughout the country.
“What makes us different from other companies is that we are committed to providing a first-rate service at a reasonable price,” Stein said. “We saw that the market was there and we’re going to give a real value to the customer.”
NCA, Inc. offers alarm-monitoring services for $9.95 per month compared to the industry average of $35. The company was founded in 1997 by Stein, who believed people were paying too much for alarm monitoring and sought to offer high quality service for a lower price than the industry norm.
In the Middle Tennessee market, NCA has averaged 40 percent growth year over year and now serves over 6,000 customers in the Middle Tennessee area.
