COPS Monitoring Opens Fifth Central Station Near Dallas, Texas
COPS Monitoring, a leading provider of wholesale alarm monitoring services headquartered in Williamstown, NJ opens its 8,000 square foot central station in Lewisville, Texas. The newest hot redundant facility is COPS’ fifth central station and will actively share in the company’s alarm traffic with their four other networked central stations located in New Jersey, Florida, Arizona, and Tennessee. Derek Kopko, a 4-year COPS veteran, will manage the new facility. Derek relocated to Texas from their New Jersey Headquarters in December 2011 and has been hiring and training new dispatchers for the past seven months. Gene Reed, an industry veteran and COPS’ newest account executive, will oversee sales in the region.
“We believe that reliability depends on more than a UL listing and fault-tolerant technology, it also relies on people,” stated Jim McMullen, President and COO of COPS Monitoring. “We are very excited about the launch of our Texas facility and how it contributes to the reliability of our network of central stations. Not only is it equipped with the leading technology, our Texas staff strengthens our team of caring professionals who are committed to providing the highest quality alarm monitoring services.”
